Our Story

Welcome to Katana Collectibles - where we hand craft custom protector cases to perfectly fit your cherished possessions. Our journey began by listening to collectors struggling to find cases that properly fit and displayed their prized items. We developed a better way to craft quality customizable cases in any size requested, for a reasonable price.

Our guiding philosophy is simple, yet powerful: When a customer requests a new custom size, we create their case and add the size to our database for future collectors. This builds a community where collectors assist fellow enthusiasts in preserving their collections.

1. GFL (Glue-less Friction-less) Box

No adhesive used
Precisely cut single piece of plastic

Enclosure Types

Full Box

A complete enclosure with all six sides enclosed after assembly. To access the item, you open one of the two flaps.

Provides maximum protection

Sleeve

An enclosure with one side completely open, not enclosed.

Allows easy access to the item without opening a flap
Suitable for movies, media, or items accessed frequently

Assembly Instructions

Standard GFL (Glue-less Friction-less) Box (Video Link)

A. Using as a Traditional Box Protector:

Crease: Firmly crease all fold lines.
Peel: Remove protective film from both sides.
Fold: Form the box by folding along crease lines. Ensure the flap with long tabs is on the inside.
Lock: Align tabs with the cutouts. Push tabs through cutouts. You should feel the lock engaged when the tab is fully inserted. Bend along the dust flap to secure.
Insert: Place your item inside the box.
Close: Fold the flap over as with a standard box protector.
Shape: Gently pinch and massage all edges to ensure proper form. This step is crucial for optimal performance.

B. Using as a Frictionless Wrapper for Sealed/Wrapped Items:

Crease: Firmly crease all fold lines.
Peel: Remove protective film from both sides.
Place: Lay the GFL protector flat and position your item correctly.
Wrap: Fold the protector around your item. Keep the flap with long tabs on the inside.
Lock: Align tabs with the cutouts. Push tabs through cutouts. You should feel the lock engaged when the tab is fully inserted. Bend along the dust flap to secure.
Close: Fold the flap over as with a standard box protector.
Shape: Gently pinch and massage all edges to ensure proper form. This step is crucial for optimal performance.

Card Keeper Box

Crease: Firmly crease all fold lines.
Peel: Remove protective film from both sides.
Fold: Form the box by folding along crease lines. Ensure the flap with long tabs is on the inside.
Lock: Align tabs with the cutouts. Push tabs through cutouts. You should feel the lock engaged when the tab is fully inserted. Bend along the dust flap to secure.
Insert: Place your item inside the box.
Fold: Fold the crease lines on the dust flap so they are like a spacer between the card and the front of the box. This is the card keeper feature to keep the card from bending or flopping over time.
Close: Fold the flap over as with a standard box protector.
Shape: Gently pinch and massage all edges to ensure proper form. This step is crucial for optimal performance.

NECA Hang Tab Box

Crease: Firmly crease all fold lines.
Peel: Remove protective film from both sides.
Fold: Form the box by folding along crease lines. Ensure the flap with long tabs is on the inside.
Lock: Align tabs with the cutouts. Push tabs through cutouts. You should feel the lock engaged when the tab is fully inserted. Bend along the dust flap to secure.
Insert: Place your item inside the box.
Form the hang tab saver: Fold the long tab down, then loop it through the large slot. Fold the second line and push it through the slot again. Bend the third line. (See picture or watch the video for visual instruction (coming soon). It is hard to describe by words.)
Close: Fold the flap over while guiding the hang tab saver over the NECA hang tab.
Shape: Gently pinch and massage all edges to ensure proper form. This step is crucial for optimal performance.
